Version 6.6.2 Release Notes

New Features in Version 6.6.2

Ferret Version 6.6.2 is required for LAS version 7.1.1.

NOTE: A serious bug has been found in this version of Ferret which affects computing the definite integral. Zonal integrals return results that are too small by a factor of pi/180 (0.01745). This bug first appeared in Ferret v6.42 and was fixed in version 6.67. Installations of LAS which run these versions of Ferret are unaffected by this bug.

New Features:

New symbols are created for line plots: AZ_HORIZ or AX_VERT contain the direction and orientation of the independent axis. They are defined after a plot is drawn. A standard X plot will result in the definition of symbol AX_HORIZ = x; a depth plot will have AX_VERT = Z, and so forth.
