[ferret_users] Fwd: pyferret WSL error

I solved it by degrading python 3.10 to 3.9 and using conda 

conda install -n pyferenv -c conda-forge pyferret ferret_datasets python=3.9 --yes

I have installed pyferret in WSL with conda in the WSL. Everything works fine except for the plots. The following errors are produced.

In the email archives there is a suggestion to install a previous version for plots (../fu_2019/msg01193.html), but this dates back almost an year and the reply suggests to wait for another release.  Any updates or fixes for this problem
