[ferret_users] PyFerret: latitude labels corrupted

Dear PyFerret users,

I wonder if anybody has seen these latitude labels. In the attached plot, the latitude labels on the left hand-side look like "80°NUD".

The attached plot was generated from "fill/k=1 temp" without any customization or settings. See below for the command sequence that produced it. I don't have
