Re: [ferret_users] Plot temperature on a predefined variable depth field

Hi Thomas,

The @LOC and @WEQ transformations do this kind of thing. Related FAQ's which deal with making a mask or otherwise picking out data based on the value of variables,

Averaging/integrating over irregular regions in Ferret.

How can I show the value of my variable at its deepest depth?

Once you get started feel free to write again with particular questions.

Dear ferreters,

I would like to plot temp[z=z_soda], where z_soda is not a constant but a field z_soda(i,j). temp is a 3d temperature field (i,j,z). For example I would like to plot temperate on predefined depths which varies with lat and lon. Any help would be much appreciated.

Best wishes,

Thomas
