[ferret_users] EOF of vector fields

Dear Ferret users,

I am trying to make Empirical Orthogonal Analysis (EOF)
of a vector field (i.e currents, winds etc)
I have found two subjects in eMail user archive

However, none of them is satisfying,
I would like to learn that, is it possible to
calculate EOF of a vector field in Ferret?
(any script could be helpful)
