Batch mode on Linux

Hi !

I'm having the same problem reported by Patrick Brockmann
on 21 Nov 2000. However I could not find any reply to his email in the
mail archives.

The problem is that I'm not able to run in batch mode scripts
with lines greater than 70 characters.

I'm using Ferret 5.22 on a RedHat 7.0
